Article on cancer

Excellent article on cancer. I have received this article through mail. I dont know who is author of this article. But as this is informative article so sharing it here.

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few
billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are
unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental,
food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow,
gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not
result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence
the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer
cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like
NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses
but only in very sma ll amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and
substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than
beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline
environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach
down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to no urish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try
and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at
temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties.
Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified
and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of
cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the
body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the
body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger,
unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax
and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular
level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

Touching story

This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.

Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy,I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed suicide. Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

Sesa Goa

Today I sold all my old stocks(IFCI, Petronet LNG, National steel and agr., Moser Baer) And I had around 200Rs. Loss.

After selling all my penny stocks I purchased 7 stocks of Sesa Goa @ 3375Rs. After some time it fall to 3326. That was not a part to worry. I am worrying because Sesa Goa has declared a bonus. And it is going to split 1:1. My worry is whether I will be eligible for the bonus or not. I have never purchased any stock before split and this is my first purchase which will split soon.

My plan was to exit from sesa goa today it self. Initially I planned to buy it around 3310 Rs. But it was consistently trading at around 3360. After some time market started gaining some points and this stock was also trading at around 3376. So I changed my mind and purchased at 3375.

Todays Strategy

Today market is down. Following are key factors for market fall.
  • From last two days market was dancing on foreign markets trend. Today foreign markets are down.
  • Rising crude oil prices.
  • Inflation is also increased(its now 11.98%. I am expecting it to rise further).

So today I am planning to buy some good stocks like Moser Baer, Suzlon Energy. I already have some stocks of these companies. So today I will average them. I will not buy them in huge quantity as I am expecting market will fall further.

I didnt purchase stocks

Today I came to the office early in the morning.

Today I decided to buy 100 stocks of Tata Power on margin. I had seen the global indices and it were positive.

But after 10-15 mins I came to know that their is no electricity in the office and machines are running on UPS. Their are very less chances that electricity will come early. So I canceled my plan to buy stocks as I will not able monitor if market is going UP or DOWN.

After some time Nilesh came to the office and he purchased BHEL, Adity Birlas More and Tata Steel. He told me that these companies are going to declare their results.

And in the evening he told me that he earned 900 Rs.

Any ways I am not feeling sorry for my move, but I am happy that I took right decision. Market is not a blind game and should not be played on luck. It was his good luck that he earned money.

A good day to recover from previous losses

Today market was green despite of CRR and repo rate hike, so I thought its a good time to exit from BHEL and recover all losses.

So I logged in reliance money, and clicked on Equity->Trade. Their I put stock name, limit price and quantity. And clicked on transact button. Then a confirmation pup-up came, without reading details I clicked on Ok button. And to my surprise I forgot to select Sell option and I purchased BHEL on higher price.

To recover this mistake I immediately sold those stocks with a profit of 8 Rs. per stock. Thank god I recovered from this mistake.

singletone classes in Java

One of my most favourite design pattern(only known design pattern).

In many cases you may need to create a singleton classes. Oh I forgot to mentioned what is singleton class. We can create only one instance of a singleton class.

Now the question is how to create a singleton class. Its quite a simple and streight forward. We can create a singleton class by using static and private keyword.

Let me tell you about these keywords first.
private: when we make any method or variable as a private then that variable or method can be accessed through that class only.
static: When we make any method or variable as static then we can access that method or variable without creating instance of that class. And one more interesting thing about static method is that we can access only the static variables of that class.

Without wasting any time I am writing code for creating singleton class.

class MyClass{
private static Myclass instance;

private MyClass(){
}

public MyClass synchronized getMyClassObject(){
if(instance== null)
instance= new MyClass();
return instance;
}
}

In this case only one instance of MyClass can be created.

Blind purchase

Today I purchased 15 shares of HT Media @ 127.35. It was blind purchase I just checked companies statistics and not products. Mostly I search companies which are having good products. Astra Microwave is one of them.

I found this company can give me good result in the long term.

Their was one more reason to purchace HT Media, I found this stock is undervalued(i.e. it was running very close to its 52 weeks low).

Any ways today it self it's price reached to 132. So at least I am happy for today.

Market is down

Now a days market is down... and i know this is right time to invest... But first I will do my tax saving investment.. As market is down... mutual funds are also down... and I want to take advantage of it.... though market is down, but still stocks which I am watching are not at buy level... so I am thinking to do tax saving first... and after tax saving I will think on to invest in stocks.....

I am watching stocks like... SAIL in steel .... PNB in banking... CIPLA in pharma.... DLF in infra.... and HCL in IT sector....

Averaging the loss

So I decided to recover from this loss. Share price of Astra microwave was 63 Rs. And I purchase them @ 76.9. So I decided to purchase more units @ CMP, so that if I purchase more units then the loss will get averaged.

So I purchased 30 more shares of Astra microwave. And now I have 40 shares of Astra Micorwave @ 69.20. And todays price is 63 Rs.

Still I am in loss, but this time I am not sure whether I have to do averaging again or not?

About my first purchase

About my purchase

After opening DMAT account, I was happy and eager to do trading.... At that time market was in boom.. so I thought this is the only chance to buy, if I miss this time...prices will go higher and I will be in loss if I purchase them on the higher rates.... so I decided to purchase Astra Microwave Products Ltd. and Suzlon Energy...

Why I selected these companies....
I don't know much about trading and stocks... I just gone through company profiles.... And I found these companies can give me good results in the long term.

So I bought 10 shares of Astra Microwave @ 769(i.e. 76.9 rs per share) and I took 3 shares of Suzlon energy @ 308 Rs per share.

And from next day share prices of these companies started coming down..... This was the my first intelligent investment.

stocks

I wanted to invest some money in stock market. So I decided to open DMAT account. For this I studied various DMAT account services. Out of which I selected Reliance money DMAT account service. The reason was simple. Its very much cheaper than other DMAT service providers. It charges 1 paisa per trade, no matter how much shares I purchase.
